None could see through the smoke where exactly did shell hit (turret, hull, track, wheel. No matter how many eyes are watching you could only see if shell hit or not (as you said tracer bounces thus the hit indicator). Hit indicator is is right to some degree. do you honestly think that the player does not know where you are in all that smoke? Do you honestly feel the average player is that dumb? Have you not noticed that you can see the silouette of the tank in the smoke for brief moments?Ģnd, yes, players forgot where they shot. if your engine or track is out and a player just shot you.

We do not have any 'Wind' in game to blow the smoke away so smoke is hardly realistic in that sense. other tanks in the troop would call for fall of shot over throat mic. I would have to say that it is not that much of a Buzz kill for immersion.

and Gunner, Commander, Bow Gunner and Driver (if not moving) are all confirming fall of shot. and since they blew your track off and know where you are (cannot go far without it) and since tracer fire bounces off a tank and can be easily seen though smoke (big battles get pretty smokey IRL) and since MG bullets bounce off tanks not bushes. Well with 4 sets of eyes in a average tank.
